Here's Noah he looks good in blue doesn't he? It was an interesting graduation ceremony to the say the least. All around the county schools were changing there plans to have there graduation ceremony's from outside to inside. All but one that is. I guess our school decided that we could beat the odds and make it through our ceremony before it stormed. The weather did not hold out and about half way through the sky turned dark. Lightning began to flash behind the graduation podium so whoever was speaking could not see the flashes but could here every one going ohhhhhh each time a flash would occur. We were sitting on the metal bleachers. Not a good place to be when lightning is happening. But we prevailed cause after all you want to see your son graduate. But little by little people were making there way off the bleachers to the grass. Finally Noah got his diploma and he was near the end so shortly after it was all over. With a turn of the tastle from one side to the other Noah was a graduate. I had to learn a lesson again in haveing unmet expectations. The evening did not turn out at all like I had hoped it would. Laying in bed that night I had to repent of some bad attitudes through out the evening. All week I had been close to tears at different times but low and behold not a single tear was shed throughout the ceremony. Anyway it's over and my son is on his way to the next chapter in his life. He's happy to have his diploma and to be done with high school.
One thing you should know is that Noah was on the honor roll and sometimes high honor roll throughout his four years of high school.
