The Miranda Experience
Hola! Wos Wit? You have found the Miranda Experience. Where Pa. Dutch and Puerto Rican culture have fused together to form the Miranda family. I've created this blog to humor myself and hopefully humor some of you out there as well. Here you will find everyday occurances of our lives. Sometimes it will be interesting to you and other times not so much. But it's our lives and we are glad to share it with you.

I have a huge patch of chives in my garden. Just keeps getting bigger each year. This year I read about cutting the flower heads off of the chives and putting them in vinegar to make a chive flavored vinegar. I gave it a whirl here are my results. The vinegar turned a really pretty color. I haven't tried it yet. I hope it tastes as good as it looks. I have since taken the flowers out and it's an even darker shade of rose now. Kind of fun.

Love this couple to pieces...
Me and my man...
We were so privileged to be able to celebrate the marriage of Jeremy & Marsha with Dale and Carol Landis.
It was a simple but beautiful wedding and reception. We had such a good time dancing and chatting the night away. The weather was just perfect making everything that much more special. The food was delicious. Congratulations to the happy couple.

Endoscopy...
Rico has been having problems with his stomach for a while now after the blood work and cat scan showed up negative for any problems the next step in determining what is going on was an endoscopy. As you can see Rico wasn't to thrilled about it. My good friend Phyllis who works at the hospital came to visit while there and brought Rico the cute dog. So sweet of her. The endoscopy showed nothing we didn't already know which is he has celiac disease. So we continue to see a gastro dr. trying to figure out what is happening. We wait and pray for Rico to feel better soon.

Conestoga House
My care group ladies minus Lynn and Karen had dinner at the Conestoga House. It was a beautiful evening. It was so lovely to enjoy our meal amongst such a granduer setting. Later we walked the grounds and oh and ahhed how beautiful everything was. It was a wonderful evening even though we got in trouble a little bit. Yup, that's how we roll. We are TROUBLE! =)

A night at the Fulton Opera
On Saturday night Edwin and I went to the Fulton Opera House to see Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. What a lovely time. The show was done really well. Before the show we went to the Prince St. Cafe for a light dinner. Edwin got the tickets from a board member of the Opera House for a job he had done for her. How nice that was.
And while at the cafe I remembered I had a gift card for there. Pretty sweet deal for a very low cost evening.
coffee on the porch
Friday morning I had a little spontaneous coffee break with
3 of my good friends. Lori, Carol and Joanne. It was a nice
little treat. I made them breakfast first and then headed
to the porch for coffee. Lori and Carol had a late start to there
cleaning job. But I think it was worth it. And well Joanne ended
up staying till 2.....haha love it.
